About Me
I build things I want to exist, mostly for clients, sometimes for myself. I've been writing code and running production Linux infrastructure for almost two decades — before anyone called it DevOps.
Along the way I've co-founded startups, designed cloud platforms from scratch, and built and led development teams in Bangladesh and Thailand. It might sound like a cliché, but I genuinely care about understanding the problem before building the solution — something that matters even more now in the age of AI.
I traded Swedish weather for Southeast Asia a long time ago — many places were visited, but I spent a bunch of time in Bali and Melbourne before settling in Bangkok for as permanent as things get for me. There's something about the pace of life here, the warmth of the people and the noodle soup at my local shop that makes it easy to stay focused on what matters.
Right now my main focus is a long-term engineering role at Inex One. Outside of work I build stuff — not for money, but apps that I'm genuinely excited about, shipped at my own pace, just because I enjoy it.
Inex One
Since 2021 I've been working remotely as a software engineer at Inex One, building the expert network marketplace that lets clients access expertise from top networks globally. I work on workflows for fully transcribed and AI-powered searchable calls and compliance tooling. These are exciting times — I build AI-powered software with AI.
Seedooh
In 2015 I co-founded Bangkok Data Labs, the dev shop that built Seedooh — a third-party ad verification platform for out-of-home advertising that now operates across 25,000+ displays in 8 countries. I designed the entire technology stack from scratch: AWS microservices architecture across 25+ accounts, Django back-ends, image and video processing pipelines, and scalable front-ends. I also led the building of the engineering team still there from zero, implemented agile processes, and ran daily operations. I remain a shareholder.
Pendata
Between 2015 and 2017 I co-founded Pendata, a Melbourne-based company focused on digital writing solutions. This is also what brought me to Thailand — I led setting up the development team and was responsible for technology and software development for Anoto Live Forms integrations.
Formidable Services
I started Formidable Services back in 2013 as a way to do my own thing — building custom web and mobile applications, integrations, and managed hosting for clients who needed someone they could trust with the technical side of their business. Over the years that's meant everything from Linux server administration and infrastructure automation to system architecture, software development, and agile coaching.
